World Book Day 2026

A magical World Book Day celebration we’ve had across the school!

Our Year 3 staff stepped straight out of the pages of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, delighting the children by dressing up as some of the story’s characters. 

The creativity didn’t stop there. Children across the school baked delicious cakes inspired by their favourite books, sharing their love of reading through imaginative designs and wonderful flavours. 

Children from Year 3 to Year 6 collaborated on a whole-school story writing project, building chapters together and showing fantastic teamwork and storytelling skills. 

A huge well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and creativity, and thank you to our staff and families for helping make World Book Day such a memorable celebration.
