Year 3

As a school, we have developed a flexible approach to our curriculum, where we use blocking for some subjects and individual or discrete for others. Waverley Abbey's 'flex' curriculum is an approach which enables children to become fully immersed with their learning. This can be a cross-curricular lessons, or use blocked lessons to enhance the teaching and learning. Thus allowing the children to have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves into all aspects of the curriculum. It is also an opportunity to have further lessons available, in the week or unit, to either develop/re-cap upon skills and knowledge or further extend.

Find a PDF to the LTP below. For knowledge organisers, please follow specific subject pages.

If you would like to find out more about the curriculum please make an appointment to see your child's teacher who will be happy to discuss this with you, you can do this by contacting school through the office via - info@waverley-abbey.surrey.sch.uk.
