Inclusion Vision Statement

At Waverley Abbey C of E Junior School, we believe that all our teachers are teachers of children with special educational needs.

We want everyone to feel that they belong and are respected and valued for who they are. We have high expectations for all but also give support when needed, so that everyone achieves their best. Every child is different and therefore learn in different ways. We believe that fair is everybody getting what they need in order to be successful. If your child has a special educational need or disability, then the support that they will need in class will vary.

It is not unusual for any child to receive additional support in their learning and the support we offer is carried out in a caring and supportive way.  We monitor a child’s progress carefully and ensure that all relevant adults are involved in the education plan.
