Waverley Abbey is a successful Church of England (Aided) junior school with 480 pupils on roll. The school is set in 5 hectares of playing fields on the outskirts of the idyllic village of Tilford in Surrey.
There are 16 classes, with 4 classes in each year. The school boasts a large ICT suite, its own heated swimming pool, music & arts block, library and dedicated librarian, a fully equiped cookery room, interactive whiteboards in each class, children’s trim trail and picnic area.
The school has a reputation for offering a large number of extra curricular activities including sport and the arts. Many of our sports teams have been District, County and British Champions, and we have competed at National level in music festivals such as Music for Youth.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This means that we have a Child Protection Policy and procedures in place. Click here to read the full safeguarding statement.
